The Chatham-Kent Cougars are holding registration this week for the upcoming season, beginning tonight.

Thursday February 5 – 6-7:30 p.m.
SuperBowl Sunday!!
February 8 – 1-3 p.m. Monday February 9 – 6-7:30 p.m.

John McGregor Secondary School will hold their Grade 9 Open House tonight.

Students and parents are invited to tour the school and meet the staff from 6:30-8:30 tonight.

No registration needed, all graduating grade 8’s are welcome to attend.

There are a couple blood donor clinics in Chatham-Kent this month.

After tonight’s games, the NHL is on a two week break.

All games will be paused so players can participate in the Olympics in Milan. This is the first time that the league has allowed its players to participate in the Olympics since 2014.

NHL play will resume on February 25th.

Canada’s Wonderland has announced that they will officially open for the 2026 season on May 3rd.

Day tickets and season passes are already available online. Wonderland is also now hiring for 4,000 jobs across all departments – you can now go online to apply.

The Vaughan amusement park is home to more than 200 attractions including 18 rollercoasters and Splash Works, the 20-acre water park, as well as restaurants, games and more.

The park is usually open until mid-September.
