We will be springing forward this weekend, but for British Columbia, it will be the last time it happens.
British Columbia is adopting year round daylight saving time so clocks will go forward by one hour for the last time this Sunday.
There will be no more time changes in the province moving forward, B.C.’s premier David Eby made the announcement on Monday.
Eby says the decision was made because of the impact that the time change has on residents including interrupted sleep, more car accidents and an “unnecessary impact on the lives of British Columbians”

After a chilly start to the week, Ontario could see some seasonal high temperatures this weekend.
As mild air pushes north from the U.S., some pockets of the province could see temperatures hovering around 20C as early as Friday. However, the warmer weather could also bring some rain.
As of right now for Chatham-Kent, temperatures look like they will peak on Saturday with a high of 15C and a chance of showers.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games get underway this week.
The Games officially kick off on Friday, however some of the wheelchair curling starts on Wednesday before the Opening Ceremony. The games will wrap up on March 15.
The first medal is up for grabs on Saturday in the women’s downhill Para-Alpine skiing and the final gold medal will be awarded in ice hockey.
The Paralympics take place in the same host cities as the Olympics and run on an alternating schedule every two years as well.
This marks the 14th edition of the Winter Paralympic Games. Over 650 athletes will compete in six sports – Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboarding, and wheelchair curling.
