London will soon be home to a new brand of smaller IKEA concept store.

The Swedish furniture giant is opening a smaller-format store at White Oaks Mall, with a planned launch in fall 2026.

At about one-fifth the size of a traditional IKEA, this new concept is built for quick visits—featuring around 2,000 essentials you can grab and go, plus room displays, planning services, and yes… IKEA food.

Shoppers will still be able to order the full catalog online with delivery or pickup options.

It’s all part of IKEA’s push to bring stores closer to where people live.

Sunday is National Grilled Cheese Day. And apparently, we love our cheese! 87% of people said they would give up coffee, chocolate and booze before giving up cheese.

For what it’s worth, a scientific experiment once found that the best cheeses, based on melting properties, are gouda, gruyere, and manchego.

71% of people say buttering the bread delivers the best crisp on the outside, 12% swear by mayo. And 68% say the perfect grilled cheese includes more than one cheese, although cheddar seems like a must.

If you’re making a Grilled Cheese this weekend, one of the most popular ways to customize them is adding tomato, bacon, ham, or eggs.
