The Chatham-Kent Film Group will screen Nika & Madison tonight at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas.

Showings at 4 and 7p.m.. Admission is $12 and tickets can be purchased at the door.

Nika & Madison is directed by Walpole Island’s Eva Thomas and will be in attendance.

The C-K Film Group screens international and independent films the first Monday of the month. Screenings are at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas.

Grade 5 students from across C-K will be taking a field trip this week to Erickson Arena to Race Against Drugs.

Today until Friday more than 1,100 students from 33 schools will take part in a interactive, race-themed experience focused on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, smoking, and vaping. It’s hands-on, engaging, and designed to stick.

The entire program is free for schools, with local emergency services, health organizations, and school boards all coming together to make it happen.
