Hello, Earth!
Nasa has released some stunning photos of our planet taken by the Artemis II crew as they made their way toward the Moon this weekend.
The gallery includes the first whole photo of Earth taken by humans since Apollo 17 in 1972.
Artemis II lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1. If all goes as planned, the crew will make its historical lunar fly-by and reach the far side of the moon on Monday. For about six hours, they will take photos and video of the moon’s far side and make observations. Nasa will be live streaming it.
The crew is set to return and splash down in the Pacific Ocean on Friday.
