Ridgetown’s Morena McDonald finished 3rd in Ward 3 in the 2022 municipal election. After councillor Steve Pinsonneault won the Lambton-Kent-Middlesex provincial byelection May 2nd, the seat was open.Chatham-Kent Council elected to fill the seat in East Kent with the third place finisher Morena. She will be sworn in tonight (May 27)
