Meet Manny!

Manny was found as a stray and entered our foster program. His foster mom loves this handsome guy. He loves to meow at her when she gets out of the shower to make sure she doesn’t forget about him! Manny would be very happy having another friendly cat to play with, particularly one who can match his energy. His current foster brother is a lower energy cat, Manny usually wants to continue playing when his brother is tired.
He is a confident, loving, happy, playful, exuberant and vibrant kitty! He does think that almost anything is a toy. If something is dangling, i.e. jewelry or hoodie strings, he will absolutely think these are toys and paw at them and try to nibble! He can be a bit of a messy eater sometimes. He is just very enthusiastic when it’s time to eat! He sometimes will get litter in his fur. He likes to jump on all the countertops too, he is very adventurous!

Manny lives with a large, well trained dog. When the dog comes in from a walk, Manny will often rub against, nuzzle and scent mark the dog, all while purring and giving happy greeting meows. He knows the dog is no threat and where to go if he doesn’t feel like dealing with the dog’s “big oaf” nature. Manny is such a confident, happy fellow.

He has not been around children since coming into our foster care. We would want older children if in his forever home.
He can often be found laying in the bathroom sink or paw at the water if the faucet is running. He loves to “help” his foster mom when preparing food and tying shoe laces. He is just such a happy, curious boy. He starts purring almost immediately when touched. He is so trusting and loves a good afternoon cat nap stretched out on the bed.
