Meet Louis!

Louis sadly lost his owner early 2025 and family were no longer able to care for him. He has done very well in our foster program. He has lots of energy for a new senior boy and he would love to have a walking buddy. Louis is very smart and used to living with a senior. He knows how to handle himself around a senior. He would love to have someone to lay by their feet or snuggled up with at bedtime. Louis lives with other dogs and cats in his foster home. He does his own thing and seeks out some one on one with his foster family.

Cats – we don’t believe he had cats in his first home and he will chase the cats in his foster home so no cats for this big boy.

Kids – he is not exposed to children in his foster home but we don’t feel that would be a problem with older children who respect a dog’s space

Louis hasn’t been interested in toys, he will lay in a comfy bed or hang around outside with the other dogs for awhile. While Louis just had a birthday, he still has lot of young dog traits – he can run up stairs quickly too!
