The NoPhone: A way people are combating their smartphone addiction. Essentially a rubber brick shaped like a phone. It has no data plan, no camera, no battery, no Wi-Fi but is completely toilet-bowl resistant.
More than 700 people were stranded in Fairplay, Colorado this weekend due to a storm. Travellers were re-routed off the main interstate to a long stretch of highway that, unknown to them was closed because of the horrible conditions.
The small town took in people overnight and as hotels and shelters filled up quickly, volunteers stepped to donate resources and allow people to sleep in lobbies and the school gym… The owner of a hotel couldn’t turn people away so she did her best to accommodate as many as possible in the hallways and lobby.
A food critic unknowingly exposed a cheating husband through one of his articles. Tom Sietsema posted a picture on his twitter after receiving a comment from a woman following one of his live chats.
