One hotel in Mississippi is allowing guests to foster a dog during their stay and even adopt the dog on their way out in the lobby.
Home 2 Suites is working with the local humane society for it’s “Fostering Hope” program. This program generally caters to extended-stay travelers, so staying at this hotel is a bit like having a home away from home. And if it’s not for you, there’s no commitment required.
The hotel set up the program back in October 2018 and has, so far, sent home 33 guests with adopted dogs.
You know that banana taped to a wall at an art show in Miami that sold for $120,000? Well a performance artist pulled it off the wall and ate it on Saturday.
David Datuna shocked Art Basel Miami Beach attendees by taking a new work from Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan — which consists of a banana fastened to a wall with duct-tape — and eating it. And there’s no bad blood between the two, Cattelan says the banana is meant to be replaced when it gets old, “it’s not the banana it’s a banana.”
It had been sold to a private collector for $120,000
The art installment is called “Comedian” it has since been removed from the gallery because the art caused uncontrollable crowds and it was jeopardizing the safety of the other artwork around it.
Walmart has apologized for an adults-only Christmas sweater that appeared to depict Santa with cocaine on its Canadian website.
The sweater showed Santa with three lines of a white substance along with the phrase “let it snow.”
