A guy in Michigan bought a couch at a second-hand store, then found a small fireproof in one of the cushions filled with $43,000.
But instead of keeping it, he tracked down the previous owners and gave it back to them.
It turned out it was their grandfather’s couch, and they didn’t know he’d been stashing cash in it. Howard Kirby recently paid $70 for an old couch set at a second-hand store.
After talking to his lawyer he said he was legally allowed to keep the money. His first thought was he could pay off the rest of his house and add a nice chunk to his retirement.
It turned out they donated it after their grandfather passed away. And they had no idea he was stashing cash in it.Howard surprised them with the money last week, and they were blown away.
Families in a Texas neighbourhood are being terrorized by a squirrel.
The squirrel started off friendly and playful. But for some reason in the past few weeks, it’s become imposing and aggressive. It even bit two moms in the neighborhood.
Sharlene French-Amezquita was attacked by the squirrel; “When I stepped outside the door he leaped on me and bit my arm, I pulled him off, threw him to the ground, and tried to get in the house,” she said. “I couldn’t get in the house because he came back, he bit this leg.”
Families said the ordeal may sound amusing to some but this one small animal has them on constant edge.
