A hatchet-wielding man robbed Voodoo Doughnut in Portland in the early hours of Saturday March 7.
By the time officers arrived, the man had left the location on foot, police said. Officers found a man about a block away eating a doughnut and holding a pink box.
Officers were told the man had jumped over the counter of the business and began filling a box with doughnuts.
Down in North Carolina a 100 year old woman was arrested for indecent exposure.
Among the items on Ruth Bryant’s bucket list has been to be arrested and taken to jail. So for her 100th birthday the local sheriff help her check that item off her list.
Deputies served a warrant for “indecent exposure” on Bryant during lunch at the residence. Officers handcuffed Bryant to her walker and she put up a fuss about being arrested, telling one deputy that he “was getting on my last nerve.” That comment drew howls of laughter from deputies, family members and other onlookers who heard the exchange.
She was then taken from her old age home to the Person County jail with lights and sirens on, adding to the experience. She also had her mugshot taken when she got to jail.
This rescue dog breaks every rule and makes his own way through the agility course at the Crufts dog show.
Kratu was participating in the rescue dogs’ agility course, which is a non-competitive event and doesn’t have strict timing rules.
He was in the competition last year and came back to officially announce his retirement. He was even up to his old tricks, like hiding in the tunnels, and at one point grabbed a pole and treated it like a favorite stick.
