A new trend of marriages being officiated over zoom. An elderly couple in Ohio were planning a big wedding this spring, but had to cancel it. He’s 90 and she’s 85, and they didn’t want to wait. Their wedding was streamed over zoom for a small group of family and friends to witness it.
Comedians Rachel Parris and Marcus Brigstocke, like many people, needed a challenge to while away the hours at home. They started challenging each other over twitter to a lip sync battle. The pair are currently on round five of their battle. And fans have even started enter their own lip sync’s with the hashtag #LockdownLipsync.

This weekend, Saturday Night Live did a special “at home” quarantine edition, with COVID-19 survivor Tom Hanks as the host and Chris Martin from Coldplay as the musical guest.
The cast appeared remotely in pre-taped, Zoom-like solo bits, from their homes. They all called-in for a group opening, and Kate McKinnon called out, quote, “Live from Zoom, it’s sometime between March and August!”
Here’s a snippet of bit they did on Zoom calls, full one can be watched here.
