Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day.
It’s a day to spread the word about mental health. It’s the 12th annual, with over $121 million being donated to mental health programs.
On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, social media video view and use of the Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.
According to the Mental Health Commission, on any given week, more than 500,000 Canadians are unable to go to work due to mental health problems.

Twitter has banned @wordlinator, a bot that replied to people’s Wordle posts with spoilers for the next day’s game.
If you’ve missed out on the Wordle craze; Wordle is a game where you get six chances to guess a five-letter word. The answer is the same for everyone playing, and it only changes once a day. The game also has an interesting sharing mechanic, where you can copy and paste a series of emoji to let people know how easy or hard it was for you to guess the word of the day.
Before Wordlinator was banned, it broke at least one of the standards laid out on Twitter’s Automation Rules page. Under the word “Don’t!” it lists “spam or bother users, or otherwise send them unsolicited messages.”
Canadian Tire is celebrating its 100th birthday this year by releasing a scented candle.
The candles are black with the store’s logo and made out of soy wax. But there’s a catch – They’re not for sale. The only way to get one is to enter an online contest on Twitter by sharing your favourite Canadian Tire memory.
Check out their Twitter account to enter, the contest closes January 30th.
