CAA’s released their Worst Roads list for 2022.

Barton Street East in Hamilton is the “winner” as the worst road in Ontario.

“After making its debut on the… list in 2019, Barton Street East has ranked fifth place, [then] third place, and climbed to first place this year due to potholes and severe alligator cracking in the pavement.”

This year’s campaign saw 3,000 roads nominated across 182 Ontario municipalities.

These are the roads that received the most votes and have been dubbed the worst for driving on:

  1. Barton Street East, Hamilton, ON.
  2. Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, ON.
  3. Barker Street, Prince Edward County, ON.
  4. County Road 49, Prince Edward County, ON.
  5. Carling Avenue, Ottawa, ON.
  6. Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON.
  7. Lake Shore Boulevard East, Toronto, ON.
  8. Finch Avenue West, Toronto, ON.
  9. Bronson Avenue, Ottawa, ON.
  10. Queen Street, Kingston , ON.

No Chatham-Kent roads cracked the top 5 in the Southwest Region. Check the roads that made the list here.

Windsor Spitfires centre Wyatt Johnston was named the OHL‘s Red Tilson trophy winner as league MVP.

Johnston, a Dallas Stars draft pick, led the league (and country) with 124 points.

Windsor is in the OHL Championship Series against the Hamilton Bulldogs with a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 will be Friday in Windsor. CKMORNINGS will have tickets to giveaway to every Spits home game.

Walmart is buying the Denver Broncos.

Walmart heir Rob Walton has successfully bid $4.5 billion to purchase the franchise. The sale is expected to be made official this month.

Once the purchase is finalized, not only will Walton instantly become the NFL’s richest owner, but he’ll have a higher net worth than the NFL’s six richest owners combined.

If the final purchase price ends up being $4.5 billion, that would smash the North American record for most money ever paid for a sports team. The record is currently held by the NBA’s Nets, who sold for $2.35 billion in August 2019.
