\"\"\"\"Chatham-Kent<\/a> Council unanimously voted in favour of a bylaw that would close Erie Shore Drive as of March 9th.<\/p>\n

A state of emergency was declared Friday afternoon, there is a chance that the Erie Shore Drive dike could fail, resulting in catastrophic flooding.<\/p>\n

The municipality has set up several resources for residents impacted by the situation. Those who need accommodations are encouraged to contact the Chatham-Kent Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628. Pet and Wildlife Rescue (PAWR)<\/a> will also be assisting any residents who require emergency assistance with pet\/animal care. PAWR can be reached at 226-996-9969 or 519-784-6146 after-hours.<\/p>\n

Public information sessions will also be held on Tuesday at the Erieau Firehall to provide one-on-one question opportunities for residents. The first session will be held from 2-3:30 and another will be held from 5-6:30. During those times residents of Erie Shore Drive may obtain boxes and empty sand bags. Sand for the sand bags is available at McGeachy’s Pond.<\/p>\n

Brochu, from Tilbury, won 7 of his 8 games in the month and 19 of his last 20. Brett has also set the all time rookie mark for wins by a goaltender for the Knights with 29.<\/p>\n

He spent last season with the Dresden Kings.<\/p>\n
