\"\"Premier Doug Ford<\/a> has reminded us once again that any Ontarians returning from abroad must, for the safety of their fellow citizens, self-isolate for two weeks.<\/p>\n

The Premier also announced that, it an effort to keep store shelves stocked, deliveries to stores will be allowed to be made at any time. The delivery of goods will over-ride any local noise bylaws that might otherwise prevent overnight deliveries. He also asked Ontarians to stop hoarding things like toilet paper.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Ministry of Transportation<\/a> and the Ministry of Health<\/a> have announced the validity periods for driving products, services and health cards will be extended until further notice.<\/p>\n

The new regulations include extensions for driver licences, licence plate validation, Ontario Photo Cards and Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration certificates. Expiring and expired health cards will continue to provide access to health care during the COVID-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n

Ontario officials say the extension will remain in place until such time that, based on advice from Ontario\u2019s Chief Medical Officer of Health and public health officials, the current situation improves.<\/p>\n

Ontario.ca\/Services<\/a> has a full list of products extended.<\/p>\n

The Federal Government<\/a> Our is extending the tax deadline to June 1st, 2020. No interest & no penalties will be added if payment is received by August 31st.<\/p>\n

\n

Until further notice, you will not need to renew these products, even if they have expired:<\/p>\n

\u2022 health cards
\n\u2022 driver\u2019s licences
\n\u2022 licence plate stickers
\n\u2022 Ontario Photo Cards
\n\u2022 Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration certificates
\n\u2022 and more<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"Loblaws stores,\u00a0Real Canadian Superstore,\u00a0<\/a>No Frills<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Shoppers Drug Mart<\/a> hours are reduced to allow for extra sanitization time and downtime for employees. Supermarkets will now be open from 7am-8pm, the first hour will be dedicated to allowing seniors and those with disabilities to shop.<\/p>\n

Customers are also encouraged to use debit or credit cards to limit the amount of hand-to-hand touching between a customer and an employee. Stores will also start to limit the number of customers allowed in during busy hours. The number will vary at each location and will be determined based on the store\u2019s size.<\/p>\n

To further ensure social distancing, locations will only use every other checkout line when possible. These measures are being implemented nationwide.<\/p>\n

Sobeys<\/a> and many other stores have opened up the first hour for seniors and those with disabilities to shop.<\/p>\n

Forever 21<\/a>, The Gap<\/a> and Old Navy<\/a> will remain shuttered for two weeks.<\/p>\n

\"\"Victoria’s Secret<\/a> is shutting down its online store in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The company still plans to pay their employees while they are closed.<\/p>\n

And Plenty of Fish<\/a> has introduced a free, livestreaming feature called LIVE. It allows members to chat with one another from home using webcams and their phones. POF launched the virtual dating feature because people are self quarantining due to the coronavirus.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Frogger, Minecraft, NBA Jam, and Guitar Hero are on the shortlist of inductees for the Video Game Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

12 games in total are nominated, and four of them are expected to be inducted.<\/p>\n

Last year’s inductees were: Colossal Cave Adventure, Microsoft Solitaire, Mortal Kombat, and Super Mario Kart. Other classics in the Hall include : Pong, Tetris, World of Warcraft, Super Mario Bros., and Pac-Man.<\/p>\n
