The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has set up a drop off site<\/a> to gather personal protective equipment (PPE) for front line health care workers.<\/p>\n

Thames Campus Arena is open for the public to leave their donations of medical masks, gloves, face shields, goggles, and medical gowns.<\/p>\n

The drop off station will open from 10-2:30 Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Donors can bring their donations inside the main front doors of the arena, place them on the table in the ticket area and exit the building for social distancing. Donations must be dropped inside<\/em> the building.<\/p>\n

\"\"Another free coffee day for truckers at Onroutes along the 401 and 400.<\/p>\n

\"\"All 23 ONroute<\/a> locations on will be providing free coffee for truckers all day, as a thank you for maintaining the provincial and national supply chain during the COVID-19 crisis. The free coffee for truckers will be offered every Wednesday until May 13th.<\/p>\n

Truckers will be asked to provide proof of trucking licence or association membership if available.<\/p>\n

ONroute service centres continue to operate as an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing 24\/7 access to fuel, washrooms, food, and truck parking.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\" The 2020 Bothwell Optimist Opti-fest & Old Autos Car Show<\/a> has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Organizers are hoping to bring back the event in August 2021.<\/p>\n

And with social gatherings of more than five people being banned, the Chatham Kinsmen Club<\/a> will not be selling fireworks for the May and July long weekends. The Kinsmen Fair in June has also been cancelled.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Stratford Festival<\/a> has decided to put its entire 2020 season on hold.<\/p>\n

Ticket holders will not be refunded, their tickets will be put into an account they can use next season.<\/p>\n

Mirvish Productions<\/a> is postponing the start of its season from September until next January.<\/p>\n

So far the Shaw Festival<\/a> has only decided to postpone the start of the season until June 30th.<\/p>\n
