Despite being approved by the City of Toronto and the province, the Jays were denied their request for an exemption from the federal government to play games at the Rogers Centre.<\/p>\n

Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino said that the health risk posed by constant international travel across the border is too high to allow the Blue Jays to play and host teams in Toronto.<\/p>\n

The Canadian border is currently closed for all non-essential travel.<\/p>\n

Over 1 billion meatballs are sold at Ikea every year.
