Four people are hospitalized. The death toll remains at two.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-406 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2018\/09\/fd341b29-cksy_5_things_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"59\" height=\"74\" \/>Face masks are now mandatory in enclosed indoor spaces in Chatham-Kent.<\/p>\n<p>The bylaw does have exemptions for\u00a0people with medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask and for people who can\u2019t put on or remove a mask without help.\u00a0If customers lie about having a medical exemption, there\u2019s not much a business owner can do. People don\u2019t have to provide proof they\u2019re exempt.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15445 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.briwebapp.net\/2020\/08\/4da4cf23-photo-1583946099379-f9c9cb8bc030-300x168.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"130\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The age exemption is for a child younger than nine both chronologically and developmentally, and children between ages of four and nine are still encouraged to wear masks in indoor public areas.<\/p>\n<p>Masks also do not have to be worn in public spaces when that person is receiving a service requiring the removal of the mask; consuming food or drink; or an emergency or medical service.<\/p>\n<p>Employees at public spaces also do not have to wear masks in areas without public access or while behind a physical barrier, such as a plexiglass window.<\/p>\n<p>The bylaw is NOT meant to replace directions from CK Public Health, it compliments maintaining a distance of two metres from other, frequent hand washing and staying home if you feel sick or have tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The full bylaw is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chatham-kent.ca\/local-government\/by-laws.\">www.chatham-kent.ca\/local-government\/by-laws.<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-54692 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2018\/09\/3acb2f67-cksy_5_things_3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"58\" height=\"90\" \/>In Blenheim this Saturday &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/24-john-st-w-blenheim-on-n0p-1a0-canada\/discover-art-blenheim-presented-by-talbot-trail-place\/2767104103363916\/\">Discover Art Blenheim<\/a> &#8211; sort of a &#8216;yard sale style&#8217; art show across town, since Art In The Park cannot be held at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TalbotTrailPlace\/\">Talbot Trail Place.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-15438 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.briwebapp.net\/2020\/08\/1911eac2-61871262_2350959041624347_4016383334790725632_o-e1597370521950-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"67\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Artists and crafters will be displaying and selling their wares from their own homes or friend&#8217;s places all around\u00a0town from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be 42 artists located in 22 different locations around town and a chance to win a $100 cash prize.<\/p>\n<p>Public washrooms and a food truck will be available in the park.
