Forecasters were tracking a line of thunderstorms across southwestern Ontario Tuesday night, which prompted a severe thunderstorm watch for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, including Rondeau Park, Sarnia-Lambton, Elgin, London, as well as Elgin and Middlesex counties.<\/span><\/p>\n

Environment Canada warned of heavy rainfall that could reach 50 millimetres in an hour, winds approaching 90 kilometres per hour, and hail about two centimetres in diameter.<\/span><\/p>\n
