Chatham-Kent\u2019s cumulative total has risen to 400 cases with Monday\u2019s update, which includes cases confirmed on the weekend. Twenty-six cases are active. That\u2019s the municipality\u2019s highest total since there were 39 on August 20th.<\/p>\n

851 reported new cases were reported across the province yesterday. 78% of the new positive cases are in the hotspots; Toronto, York, Peel and Ottawa. A lot of the recent cases have been attributed to Thanksgiving gatherings.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Lambton Kent District School Board<\/a> issued a COVID-19 advisory due to a probable case of COVID-19 within Chatham-Kent Secondary School<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Public health officials are working closely with the board to contact any students and staff members who may have been in potential contact with the virus.<\/p>\n

The school remains open at this time.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Ontario government has picked a Windsor contractor to install the concrete safety barriers on Highway 401 in Tilbury.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made yesterday morning. Ontario is investing $67.8 million to widen and install concrete median barriers on the highway between Tilbury and Merlin Road.<\/p>\n

\"\"Coco Paving<\/a> has been selected to do the work on the 11 kilometres of highway, which also includes a new storm sewer system. The concrete barriers will enhance safety by helping to reduce the likelihood of cross-median collisions.<\/p>\n

Ontario is enhancing safety and keeping goods moving by widening the first section of Highway 401 between Tilbury and Merlin Road. \"\"NASA<\/a> announced yesterday there’s water on the surface of the moon.<\/p>\n

\"\"The new research published Monday suggests water is indeed scattered across the Moon\u2019s surface, including in areas exposed to direct sunlight and in tiny pockets cast in permanent shade.<\/p>\n

The first paper revealed it\u2019s mainly H2O that exists on the lunar surface, rather than hydroxyl. That means the Moon is a lot more damp than scientists thought.<\/p>\n

Future missions to the Moon are planned to land to further investigate. Those missions are expected before 2024 and will also include the first woman and man near the south lunar pole.<\/p>\n
