There were 14 new cases for a total of 23 active cases. A new outbreak has been declared at an unspecified workplace.<\/p>\n

No positive cases have been hospitalized and the number of total deaths is still three.<\/p>\n

Ontario reported 1388 new cases Tuesday, that’s a new daily high for the province. 82% of the new positive cases are in Toronto, York, Peel, Halton and Niagara.<\/p>\n

\"\"Today is Remembrance Day, commemorating the end of WWI at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.<\/p>\n

It’s the 102nd anniversary of the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany in France.<\/p>\n

\"\"It\u2019s observed in Canada & the UK, and in Belgium & France as Armistice Day.<\/p>\n

The tradition is to observe 2 minutes silence at 11am.<\/p>\n

Remembrance Day ceremonies at each cenotaph in Chatham-Kent will be invitation-only for veterans, Legion members, and guests because of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Participating restaurants currently have Poppy Collection Boxes at the front counter where guests can make a donation for a Poppy Pin in support of the Royal Canadian Legion.<\/p>\n
