\"\"\"\"On Thursday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford<\/a> announced the province’s re-opening plan.<\/p>\n

Ontario will have 3 phase staged approach to reopening:
\n\u2022 Phase 1 is when 60% of Ontarians have first dose
\n\u2022 Phase 2 is 70% with one dose, 20% full vaccinated
\n\u2022 Phase 3 is 70-80% with first dose and 25% fully vaccinated
\n\u2022 Outdoor facilities like golf courses and tennis courts in Ontario will be allowed to reopen Saturday, May 22. Also allowed to reopen tomorrow are driving ranges, soccer and other sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, and skate parks. However, organized outdoor sports or recreational classes are not permitted. Outdoor limits for social gatherings and organized public events will be expanded to five people.<\/p>\n

At this time, reopening schools for in-class learning is not a part of the reopening plan.<\/p>\n

There was 2 recoveries, the total active cases is 36.<\/p>\n

After two days under 2,000 the positive cases jumped to 2,400 across Ontario on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The annual Ford Fireworks display will return on June 28th, but like last year, there will be no in-person viewing in downtown Windsor and Detroit.<\/p>\n

Like last year, the fireworks will be a TV-only event again due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

This year is the 63rd year the event has been held. Last year, the fireworks were postponed but then held later in the summer at an undisclosed location.<\/p>\n

The annual fireworks display is expected to return to in-person viewing in 2022.<\/p>\n
