There are a couple of exceptions; Kingston Park and Mitchell’s Bay splash pads may be delayed. Kingston Park is awaiting a water test and Mitchell’s Bay has a mechanical issue.<\/p>\n

Washrooms will be open where they are available but change rooms will not.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Two new positive COVID-19 cases reported Thursday by Chatham-Kent Public Health<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There were no recoveries, the total active cases is up to 17 locally.<\/p>\n

There were 870 positive cases across Ontario Thursday. The province has now had fewer than 1,000 new cases for the fourth consecutive day, but there is a slight uptick – Ontario’s Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams may be linked to the Victoria Day long weekend.<\/p>\n

As of Wednesday night, 9.4-million vaccine doses had been administered across Ontario. More than 69% of the population over the age of 18 has had one. More than 834,900 Ontario residents are now fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Airshow London<\/a> announced Thursday that the famous Canadian Forces Snowbirds<\/a> will be a part of this year\u2019s airshow.<\/p>\n

The show, known as SkyDrive 2021<\/a>, will follow last year\u2019s drive-in format.<\/p>\n

The demonstration team is continuing their Operation Inspiration that began during the pandemic to lift the spirits of Canadians. Tragically Captain Jenn Casey lost her life last year in a crash during a practice run. Operation Inspiration is carrying on to highlight her legacy.<\/p>\n

The show runs from August 27-29. Tickets can be purchased at airshowlondon.com.<\/p>\n

\"\" The St. Thomas Air Fest<\/a> has announced that the Air Fest\u2019s Salute to All Essential Workers will take place on Saturday, June 12th.<\/p>\n

The fly-by event will honour those working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally set for April but cancelled at the last minute when the Ontario government announced the province-wide stay-at-home order.<\/p>\n

The salute takes off at 12:30pm, residents are asked to enjoy the salute from the comfort of their own homes, a local park or a public space. Organizers ask that no one shows up to the St. Thomas Airport, no planes will be landing there.
