There were 3 recoveries, the total active cases is at 11 locally. That is the fewest active cases in more than 14 weeks.<\/p>\n

The Chatham-Kent Vaccination Centre surpassed 70,000 vaccinations administered yesterday.<\/p>\n

There were 447 positive cases across Ontario Monday. It’s just the third time since the Fall that the province has seen daily new cases drop below 500, the previous two times were last week.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Ontario government announced it will lift land and water border restrictions allowing for interprovincial travel between Quebec and Manitoba as of 12:01am Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Those entering Ontario must \u201ccontinue to follow the public health measures in place in the province.\u201d<\/p>\n

Interprovincial travel into Ontario from Quebec and Manitoba had been banned since April 16th.<\/p>\n

The Ford government also announced that high-level sports teams, including the Toronto Blue Jays, can now hold non-contact practice and dry-land training in Ontario. The Jays are playing home games in Buffalo, this latest announcement is the first step to having the team back at the ‘dome and the Raptors returning to Toronto later this season.<\/p>\n

\"\"Canada’s Wonderland<\/a> announced it will reopen to the general public on July 7th.<\/p>\n

\"\"Step 2 of Ontario\u2019s reopening plan, which tentatively starts July 2nd, allows for amusement and water parks to reopen to the public. Protocols will be in place when the park reopens.\u00a0A new online reservation system requires each guest to have a reservation for their day of visit and time of arrival and health screening and temperature checks for guests before entering the park.<\/p>\n

Masks will need to be worn throughout the park.<\/p>\n

The park was closed throughout all of 2020 and has not welcomed guests since December 2019.<\/p>\n

Reservations for visits will open at 9am Thursday on Canada\u2019s Wonderland<\/a> website or mobile app.<\/p>\n
