\"\"The Trudeau government has announced that it is working on creating proof-of-vaccination documents for Canadians to use at home and while travelling abroad.<\/p>\n

Fully vaccinated Canadians will soon be able to get a document that will certify their COVID-19 vaccine history for the purpose of international travel.<\/p>\n

It will be digital, with an option for those who can’t or don’t want a digital certificate. The document, or \u201cpassport,\u201d will include the holder\u2019s vaccination history, including the type of vaccines they received, the date and precise location.<\/p>\n

As of Wednesday, over 71% of Canadians have received at least one dose, and 62% are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and its variants.<\/p>\n

There was 1 recovery, the total active case count locally is at 9.<\/p>\n

There were 324 new cases reported Wednesday across the province. 234 cases are in unvaccinated individuals and 32 in partially vaccinated individuals. It is the sixth straight day with over 300 daily cases.<\/p>\n
