The answer is, yes. NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization which defends the homeland through aerospace warning, aerospace control, and maritime warning for North America. It\u2019s part of the U.S. Defense Department budget, which won’t be affected by the shutdown, plus the Santa Tracker is really cheap to run, since it’s mostly funded by corporate sponsors and staffed by volunteers.<\/p>\n
