LaFlamme was informed on June 29 by Bell Media that her contract would not be renewed and that the media outlet was going \u201cin a different direction.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2010, LaFlamme was named the successor to Lloyd Robertson as the full-time anchor of CTV National News.<\/p>\n

LaFlamme was named to the Order of Canada in 2019 and earlier this year won best news anchor at the Canadian Screen Awards.<\/p>\n
