Once the temperatures start to rise, we&#8217;ll be left with showers overnight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**UPDATE &#8211; NOW A FREEZING RAIN WARNING<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-406 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2018\/09\/fd341b29-cksy_5_things_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"59\" height=\"74\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2962\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2019\/02\/83d0a948-chatham-maroons.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"81\" height=\"81\" \/>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chathammaroons.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chatham Maroons<\/a> regular season wrapped up with a 5-4 win over Komoka last night.<\/p>\n<p>The Maroons finished the regular season in 5th place, with 54 points.<\/p>\n<p>Chatham will play Lasalle in the first round of the playoffs. Schedule will be released soon.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepjhl.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PJHL<\/a> regular season continues for another week for the Blenheim Blades, Dresden Kings, Wheatley Sharks and Wallaceburg Thunderhawks.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-54692 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2018\/09\/3acb2f67-cksy_5_things_3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"58\" height=\"90\" \/>For the first time in its 53-year history the <a href=\"https:\/\/ncc-ccn.gc.ca\/places\/rideau-canal-skateway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rideau Canal Skateway<\/a>\u00a0in Ottawa will not open for skating this winter.<\/p>\n<p>The mild temperatures this winter will prevent the world&#8217;s largest skating rink from opening.<\/p>\n<p>The Rideau Canal Skateway first opened in 1971. The previous latest opening was February 2nd in 2002.
