\"\"\"\"The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority<\/a> has issued a flood warning for the Thames River in Chatham-Kent.<\/p>\n

Significant rainfall over the weekend has led to high water levels on the Thames River. We could get an additional 10 to 20 mm of rain today.<\/p>\n

People are urged to take extra caution and avoid the river, ditches, and streams. The combination of slippery banks, and fast moving cold water can be dangerous.<\/p>\n

The flood warning will be in effect until Friday.<\/p>\n

\n

UPDATE: the pervious flood watch has been upgraded and a flood warning is now in place for areas along the Thames River in Chatham-Kent.<\/p>\n
