She was 83 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Tina rose to fame in the 1960s as part of the Ike &amp; Tina Turner Revue, with her husband Ike Turner.<\/p>\n<p>After escaping Ike&#8217;s abuse in 1976, she did what she had to do to survive, before her solo career took off with her 1984 album Private Dancer, featuring the hits What&#8217;s Love Got to Do with It, Better Be Good to Me, and the title track.<\/p>\n<p>Tina sold 200 million albums and won eight Grammys. The winning goal in last nights clincher was scored with 4 seconds left. After just getting into the playoffs, Florida has booted the top ranked Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and now the Hurricanes.
