South Buxton was hit by an EF1 tornado after a survey team investigated reported damage in the area and found evidence for a tornado in that location.<\/p>\n

The group said the over land tornado hit at 4:50pm and damaged several roofs, homes, barns, trees, and crops in the South Buxton and Dealtown areas. The tornado had an estimated maximum wind speed of 175 km\/h for 10.5 kilometres with a maximum path width of 850 metres.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
