This week, the NHL announced a four-day hockey fan festival that will take place February 1 to February 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The NHL Fan Fair<\/a> will have interactive hockey games, special appearances by NHL Alumni and current NHL players, there will be NHL memorabilia and trophies on display including the Stanley Cup.<\/p>\n

\"\"Walmart<\/a> is making a big change to accommodate customers with autism, PTSD, and other sensory disorders. Starting tomorrow, stores will have special “sensory-friendly” hours from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each day.<\/p>\n

The TVs will show a static image instead of videos. They’ll also leave the music off and lower the lights. They tested it for back-to-school season and had success.<\/p>\n

\"\"Toronto has a Christmas themed bar opening again this season; Miracle Toronto on Bloor Street will open next week.<\/p>\n

The bar will serve Jingle Balls Nog, Christmapolitan, Snowball Old Fashioned, and Hot Buttered Rum. There is also a small gift store.<\/p>\n

The pop-up bar will operate as a walk-in, with no reservations. For every drink sold, $1 will be donated to Nellie’s, an organization providing shelter education and advocacy for women and children in the GTA.<\/p>\n

Miracle Toronto on Bloor Street will be open November 17 to December 30.
