For the first time ever, BC Place was renamed to \u2018Christine Sinclair Place\u2019 to celebrate her legacy.<\/p>\n

Sinclair, who is now 40-years-old, played 331 games for Canada and is the highest-scoring player in international soccer history, with 190 goals. She has led the women’s soccer team to a gold and two bronzes at the Olympics.<\/p>\n

Canada beat Australia in the game 1-0. Canada Soccer said the attendance was the largest-ever for a women\u2019s national team friendly in Canada.<\/p>\n
