All 7.8 kms of the largest skating rink in the world won’t be open right away, just a 1.9 km stretch is ready for skaters. More sections wil open as soon as ice conditions become safer.<\/p>\n

The canals weren’t open for skating last winter for the first time in history due to unseasonably warm temperatures.<\/p>\n
