A heads up that the\u00a0Murray Street Bridge in Wallaceburg will be closed this week.<\/p>\n

The bridge will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians on Wednesday from 8 am-4 pm for\u00a0balancing and testing of the moveable spans.<\/p>\n

During this time, the bridge will not be operable for larger boats, however, smaller boats that do not require the bridge to be opened will be accommodated.<\/p>\n

For the 23rd year, you can help the Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise uplift the CK community by purchasing a dozen sunrise roses for yourself or a loved one.<\/p>\n

It’s $25 for a mix of red, yellow and orange roses. There is free delivery offered to all addresses in Chatham-Kent, pickup is also available.<\/p>\n

The WNBA and NBA Canada will be hosting another preseason game<\/a> in Canada after an extremely successful first game in Toronto last spring.<\/p>\n

The game will take place in Edmonton this time on May 5 with the\u00a0Los Angeles Sparks taking on the Seattle Storm at Rogers Place.<\/p>\n

The first game in 2023 sold out in minutes and saw Chatham-Kent’s Bridget Carleton and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Chicago Sky at Scotiabank Arena in front of almost 20,000 fans.<\/p>\n
