Highs this week will be right around the freezing mark. The normal temperature for this time of year is 7C. Temperatures will rise next week but we could also see a mix of rain and snow.<\/p>\n

Coulson also said it’s still a little too early to take off the winter tires and habits may need to be adjusted for winter driving conditions this week.<\/p>\n

According to Statistics Canada<\/a>, the population should hit 41 million sometime next month. Canada hit the 40 million mark in June 2023. Canada’s record-high population growth continues due to permanent and temporary immigration.<\/p>\n

Ontario remains the most populated province, with 15,969,695 people; followed by Quebec, with a population of 9,027,430; and B.C., with 5,635,231. Nunavut is currently the smallest, with a population of just 40,975.<\/p>\n
