Our weekend forecast is looking pretty much perfect, according to Environment Canada.<\/p>\n

Both Saturday and Sunday will bring plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid-20s. As of right now, that trend is expected to continue into next week as well.<\/p>\n

Chatham-Kent breweries are teaming up once again to present\u00a0BrewFestCK<\/a>\u00a0this Summer. The second stop is tomorrow at Bayside Brewing Co.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each local brewery will host an event with new beer releases, food, entertainment, vendor markets and more all summer.<\/p>\n

Bayside Brewing<\/a> hosts EauFest from 2 pm – 10 pm on Saturday.\u00a0Red Barn Brewing Company<\/a>\u2018s FarmFest is August 31st and Wallaceburg\u2019s Glasstown Brewing Company<\/a> closes the season with RiverFest on September 14th.<\/p>\n

Entry fee is $10 and that includes drink ticket and the proceeds go directly to the charity of choice for each brewery.<\/p>\n

The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers will play the last weekend of regular season home games of their inaugural season this weekend.<\/p>\n

The Barnstormers will take on the Welland Jackfish at Fergie Jenkins Field on Saturday at 7:05 pm. Prior to the game, Bill Atkinson will be honoured with a new painting that will be installed besie the one made earlier this summer of Fergie Jenkins.<\/p>\n

The team will remain at home to take on the Guelph Royals Sunday at 1:35 pm.<\/p>\n

There will be a chance to see one of the biggest meteor showers of the year this weekend.<\/p>\n

The Perseid meteor shower will peak in North America over the next few days, producing up to 100 meteors per hour.<\/p>\n

Point Pelee National Park and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Windsor Centre<\/a>, will welcome the public on Friday night to Saturday morning,\u00a0as well as Saturday night\u00a0to Sunday morning\u00a0 at the West Beach to view the sunset, planets, stars, Moon and the Perseid meteor shower. Solar viewing will take place in the early evening.<\/p>\n

The Perseids will start to be visible as the sky darkens, with the best viewing around midnight.<\/p>\n

After no winner yet again for the last\u00a0Lotto Max<\/a>\u00a0draw,\u00a0more than $100 million in prizes will be up for grabs in Friday\u2019s draw.<\/p>\n

The OLG says that there will be an estimated 37 MAXMILLIONS prizes up for grabs on Friday, along with the $70 million jackpot.\u00a0The last time a person won the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot was in May<\/p>\n

Tickets are available online<\/a> or in store until 10:30pm on draw nights.<\/p>\n
