\"\"\"\"The Ridge Runners East Kent<\/a> car group will host the second Hot Rods for Hospice<\/a>\u00a0benefit on Saturday at the University of Guelph – Ridgetown Campus.<\/p>\n

All vehicles will be displayed from 8-4p.m.<\/p>\n

There will also feature food, entertainment, vendors, and activities for kids and families. Participants of the car and tractor shows will receive dash plaques and be eligible to win a selection of door prizes.<\/p>\n

The event is free admission for guests, but cash donations for the Hospice will be appreciated.<\/p>\n

There is a fee for vehicles, vendors, and swap meet participants. All proceeds will go to the Chatham-Kent Hospice<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"The\u00a02024 Field of Honour: The Chatham Coloured All-Stars Charity Baseball Game is tomorrow at Fergie Jenkins Field. First pitch is at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

What began in 2021 as an idea to help further the recognition of the Chatham Coloured All-Stars and early Black baseball in Canada, has now grown into an annual event to celebrate and honour the legacies players left behind.<\/p>\n

Admission is by donation with proceeds going to support the Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum<\/a>.
