The Ontario Baseball Association<\/a> announced their 2024 Hall of Fame class<\/a> this week. Atkinson is one of 5 inductees this year. He spent four seasons in the majors.<\/p>\n

He pitched pro ball from 1972-83 and returned to Chatham to pitch senior ball until 1999. He was inducted into Chatham Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 and coached local teams.<\/p>\n

The inductees will be honoured in November at Baseball Ontario\u2019s Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n
