The Tilbury Santa parade<\/a> is next up, on Friday November 29th.<\/p>\n

Immediately following the parade, stick around for the Tilbury Lions Christmas Light Festival<\/a>. The lights get turned on for the first time at approximately 8-8:30pm. It’s the 6th season for the lights, they will be on nightly from 5:30-11 p.m.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Formula 1<\/a> is moving the Canadian Grand Prix<\/a> to a new weekend on the calendar; from its usual June race day, it’ll now be in May beginning in 2026.<\/p>\n

Currently the race is in the middle of a succession of European races, forcing teams to travel across the Atlantic Ocean and back for a single weekend.<\/p>\n

The 2025 race is scheduled for June 15th.<\/p>\n

The Canadian Grand Prix is set to take place in May from 2026 onwards ??<\/p>\n

The kettles went out in Chatham late last week, they will be in Wallaceburg beginning on Thursday. Again this year there will be debit\/credit machines available for donations. The goal for 2024 is $550,000 that will support local community initiatives.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s World Cheese Awards<\/a> saw 4,786 cheeses from 47 countries in Portugal. Over 240 experts acted as the judges, the awards have been around since 1988.<\/p>\n
