Environment Canada<\/a>\u00a0has issued a Fog Advisory for this morning. Visibility is expected to be reduced for most of the morning. We’ll have clouds and rain today with a high of 9C. Cooler as the week goes on, with flurries expected before the weekend.<\/p>\n

Winter will officially arrive at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Chris and Allanah are volunteering their time this morning at Sobeys Chatham to watch a Salvation Army Kettle.<\/p>\n

The goal this year is $550,000 and that will stay local and support local initiatives.<\/p>\n

Please make a donation (some kettles are equipped to take debit and credit cards) and volunteer your time to watch a kettle over the holidays. To help out call the Chatham-Kent Salvation Army<\/a> at 519-437-1784 or 519-437-1769 or check out the Facebook page<\/a> for info.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Chatham Goodfellows<\/a> has a very successful weekend with Street Sales, bringing in $31,475.<\/p>\n

That’s up nearly $1500 from last year’s total. All money raised supports the 70th annual No Child Without a Christmas campaign.<\/p>\n

\"\"Toy delivery will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are asked to line up at the former Monsignor Uyen School (255 Lark Street, Chatham) to pick up their packages for delivery.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Canadian Forces Snowbirds<\/a> have released their schedule for the 2025 season. This will be the 54th year of Snowbird shows across Canada.<\/p>\n

The Snowbirds are Canada\u2019s military aerobatics team and showcase synchronized maneuvers and stunts around the country.<\/p>\n

The season opens in May in B.C. The traditional fly-by in Ottawa on July 1st is on the calendar.<\/p>\n

So far, the closes to C-K they’ll fly this year will be in London, September 5-7th.
