\"\"\"\"The Chatham Maroons<\/a> have eliminated the Elmira Sugar Kings after a victory at Memorial Arena last night.<\/p>\n

After falling behind 3-0 before the game was even 10 minutes in, they battled back with 4 straight to win 4-3. Chatham wins the best of 7 series 4 games to 1.<\/p>\n

The Maroons will face the third-seeded Stratford Warriors in a semifinal. Stratford swept LaSalle 4-0 in their quarter-final. That series schedule has not been released yet.<\/p>\n

\"\"There’s a partial solar eclipse happening tomorrow at sunrise.<\/p>\n

The Sun, Moon, and Earth will align almost perfectly, casting the Moon’s shadow across the surface of the planet. Unlike the total eclipse earlier this month, the Moon will only appear to take a ‘bite’ out of the Sun for everyone watching, as this alignment produces a partial solar eclipse.<\/p>\n

They call it a “double sunrise” because you see two separate “horns” of the sun rising up. But sadly, most of Canada won’t get to see it; The best view of this eclipse will be seen from Newfoundland, Labrador, and Baffin Island.<\/p>\n
