The live chainsaw carving event gives you a chance to watch some of North America’s top chainsaw carvers in action.<\/p>\n

It takes place at 29972 West Bothwell Road\u00a0from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. today and Saturday and from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday. At 1 p.m. on Sunday, all pieces will be auctioned off to the highest bidders. Timberfest is free to attend.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers<\/a> are in Brantford tonight to play the Red Sox at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow C-K is back at Fergie Jenkins Field to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:05. Prior to first pitch the Barnstormers will retire Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins number 31. Fergie will be in attendance.\u00a0Jenkins is the Barnstormers’ honorary team president.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"CAA<\/a> has released its 2025 list of the worst roads in Ontario.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen Ave in Hamilton is the “winner” as the worst road in Ontario for the second straight year. It is considered the worst, mainly due to damaging potholes and poor maintenance. The top three worst roads in Ontario this year also include Barton Street East in Hamilton and County Road 49 in Prince Edward County. Both roadways are expected to receive significant upgrades and are in the early planning stages.<\/p>\n

Banwell Road in Windsor is the number one worst road in the Southwest region, which includes Chatham-Kent, Essex, and Lambton County. The top 5 in our region:<\/p>\n

    This year\u2019s campaign saw 2,400 roads nominated across 208 Ontario municipalities.<\/p>\n

    \"\"\"\"Saturday is Induction Day at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame<\/a> in St. Marys.<\/p>\n

    Baseball fans are invited out to see the 2025 inductees ex MLB stars Jose Bautista and \u00c9rik B\u00e9dard, along with Canadian Junior National Team head coach Greg Hamilton and longtime Women\u2019s National Team star Amanda Asay enshrined in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. The Induction Ceremony under the ceremonial tent is free to attend.<\/p>\n

    The museum opens for tours at 11 a.m. and the ceremony is at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

    \"\"Today is Donut Day. It falls on the first Friday in June every year.<\/p>\n

    In 1938, Donut Day was established as a way to honour the members of the Salvation Army that came to the aid of soldiers during World War I. The “Donut Lassies” would fry up donuts in a war helmet, frying up 7 at a time.<\/p>\n
