As part of their Summer Movie and Activity\u00a0 Series, the theatre will be showing\u00a0Paddington in Peru in 3 p.m. Prior to that, at 2 p.m. kids will get a chance to do origami of Paddington Bear\u00a0sponsored by CK Museum and Thames Art Gallery.<\/p>\n

At 7 p.m., the theatre will show Elvis.<\/p>\n

Both movies are $7 each to get into, or you can flash your movie pass for entry.<\/p>\n

Tonight the Dresden Rotary Club hosts the Summer Concert Series.<\/a><\/p>\n

Tonight The Courtney Wells Band will take the stage at 7. Sidestreets will host a BBQ beginning at 7. 50\/50 tickets will be sold each week, draw held on August 21st.<\/p>\n

Come out for some free music at Dresden Rotary Park all summer, and it\u2019s free!<\/p>\n

A heads up, if you take Lacroix Street- a section of the road, will be closed overnight for the next week.<\/p>\n

Lacroix Street will be closed from Thursday July 3 to Thursday July 10 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.<\/p>\n

All lanes will be closed between Park Avenue West and Spencer Avenue at the CN Railway crossing underpass. Traffic will have access up to the work zone.<\/p>\n

The Gordie Howe International Bridge has\u00a0marked another milestone as it nears its planned completion in the fall.<\/a><\/p>\n

The pair of massive cranes used to construct the international crossing have been decommissioned, making it look a lot less like a construction site.<\/p>\n

The project team recently announced that\u00a0“After five years, the two massive tower cranes on either side of the Detroit River are retiring from the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.”<\/p>\n

The cranes were installed\u00a0over a three-day process in 2020 and used to assist in the construction of the bridge’s support towers, which top out at 220 metres tall above the Detroit River.<\/p>\n
