\"\"NASA<\/a> has cancelled its plans for an all-female spacewalk due to a lack of spacesuits that fit women astronauts. For real.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"The walk was supposed to take place Friday, it’ll still happen but now with a man and one of the two women scheduled. Anne C. McClain, will have to stay back while a male astronaut will accompany Christina H. Koch.<\/p>\n

Both McClain and Koch required medium spacesuit torso sections, and there is currently only one that is properly configured at the International Space Station<\/p>\n

After the backlash online, NASA tried to clarify with a tweet explaining that it has more than one medium suit onboard \u2014 there just wasn\u2019t enough time to fit and adjust that piece ahead of the spacewalk.<\/p>\n
