\"\"\"\" \"\"It’s Hockey Day in Chatham on Sunday with a OHL<\/a> and GOJHL<\/a> doublelheader at Memorial Arena.<\/p>\n

The Saginaw Spirit<\/a> will host the Windsor Spitfires<\/a> at 2 p.m., followed by the Sutherland Cup Champion Chatham Maroons<\/a> hosting the Lasalle Vipers<\/a> at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $12 and that gets you admission for both games. Children under 7 are free. Box office opens at noon on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Welland Jackfish and the Barrie Baycats will battle it out in a best of 7 for the Dominico Cup. It’s a rematch of the 2023 final.<\/p>\n

Welland won the 2023 championship, Barrie in 2024. The championship series starts Sunday in Welland.<\/p>\n

Southwestern Ontario\u2019s biggest fair will open the gates at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Free entrance for kids 10 and under and 65 plus, $15 for adults. The fair runs until September 17th. Go here<\/a> for schedules and info.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"Nobody won the $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Since May 31, there have been 41 straight drawings without a big winner. The jackpot for tomorrow’s draw is an eye-popping $1.7 billion. The odds of hitting the jackpot: about 1-in-292 million.<\/p>\n

A website analyzed all the Powerball drawings from the last 10 years. That’s 1,246 drawings since October 7th, 2015. Over the past decade of Powerball drawings, the number that’s most likely to come up of all the numbers is: 61.<\/p>\n

The five most commonly drawn numbers over the past 10 years are: 61, 21, 23, 33 and 69.<\/p>\n

The number that’s least likely to be drawn is: 13. It’s only been drawn 66 times in the last decade. The five least likely numbers are: 13, 49, 26, 46 and 65.<\/p>\n

And the number that’s most “overdue” is 26, which hasn’t been drawn since April of this year.<\/p>\n

There was no big jackpot winner this week but 10 employees at an elementary school in Ohio did win $1 million. Part of their winnings went to a kindergarten teacher they worked with who lost her battle with cancer six years ago. They’ve been paying into the pool for her ever since. Each person’s cut is $72,000 after taxes. They’re giving the kindergarten teacher’s portion to her children.<\/p>\n

**Reminder: There are no restrictions that prohibit Canadians from playing the Powerball lottery. Be aware and very careful of websites offering to sell to Canadians.<\/p>\n
