NASA has announced that the ‘clearest sign of life’ on Mars has been detected.<\/a><\/p>\n

In an announcement earlier this week, an official with NASA said Mars Rover collected a sample on the planet\u00a0believed to be evidence of ancient microbial life.<\/p>\n

Researchers have been examining the features on ancient rocks in a crater where a river existed on Mars billions of years ago.<\/p>\n

The features they found possibly indicated that tiny life forms may’ve existed on the planet long before Earth’s humankind and the rover’s new discovery seems to support this theory.<\/section>\n

Specifically, chemicals — like iron and phosphorus — were detected in the sample collected microorganisms the rover … this means tiny microorganisms may’ve broken down organic material<\/p>\n
