Strong southwest winds will gust up 80 to 90 km\/h beginning this morning and ending Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority<\/a> has issued a safety bulletin for residents along Lake Erie. Wave heights could reach 1.5 to 2.5 metres in near shore areas with up to four metre waves on the open lake. People in the area are urged to use extra caution and avoid the shoreline if conditions worsen.<\/p>\n

The high winds have cancelled all rides on the Pelee Island Ferry for today.<\/p>\n
